I’m booking late onto a course, do I get a discount for sessions I have missed?

Yes 🙂 If you want to book onto a course that has already started we will happily discount the number of sessions you have missed so far.

Simply go through the event registration process as normal, and at the checkout page select your payment option as ‘Pay Later’. You can then complete your registration.

Once you’re done, we will send you an email with a promotional code to offer you a discount equal to the number of sessions that have already passed for the course. You can then:

  • Log in to your Members Area on our website
  • Find your booking
  • Click ‘Actions’, the little cog icon, and select the shopping cart icon to begin the checkout process
  • Here you can enter your promotional code to apply your discount
  • Finally, complete your checkout with your chosen payment method to complete your order

If you accidentally make payment for the full cost of the event, by either not entering your promotional code or completing checkout first time through without selecting ‘Pay Later’, you always use the code to apply the discount to a future booking. Or, if you want us to refund you the discount amount after you have made payment, please get in touch.

Yes. Parties can be held in local leisure centres, school sports halls and fields or even at your own home. Contact the coach for your nearest venue directly to find out more.

What does the session involve?

All Kick-a-Bout sessions follow a suitable age/ability lesson plan focusing on maximum participation for all children. For our younger groups the class is themed around popular children’s stories and using pictures, toys and fancy dress. Children will be taking on exciting adventures with different parts of the story relating to different games helping them learn and become confident with a ball at their feet without realising it.

For our older age groups and keeping with the ethos of children having their own ball meaning more touches and more fun we focus on more small sided 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 matches.

Do I need to bring anything along?

Your child will need a drink, preferably water.

What does my child wear?

The majority of our sessions are indoors, therefore wear suitable loose clothing with trainers/plimsolls. Shin pads are not compulsary although we do recommend them for all sessions for children 6 years+.

Will my child automatically move up to the older age group?

Coaches will be able to advise when your child can move up and if he/she is either lacking confidence or an experienced player a suitable class can be found for them.
